This documentation pertains to accessing the shared network drives Forms (F:), Home (H:), Projects (P:), Units
(U:), and Data Warehouse (Y:).
Windows Devices
- Desktop in the office
- Open File Explorer
- Navigate to This PC
- Double-click the drive you need
- Laptop in the office using a docking station
- Open File Explorer
- Navigate to This PC
- Double-click the drive you need
- RAD-joined laptop connected to RUWireless Secure anywhere ON campus: At this time, only the Home (H: drive) is accessible from RUWireless Secure. Connect to the VPN to access additional network drives.
- Open File Explorer
- Navigate to This PC
- Double-click the drive you need. Note that drives may be slow to make the connection for the first time during each session. They may appear with a red X, but this will resolve by itself.
- RAD joined laptop OFF campus
- Connect to the Rutgers VPN
- Open File Explorer
- Navigate to This PC
- Double-click the drive you need. Note that drives may be slow to make the connection the for the first time during each session. They may appear with a red X, but this will resolve by itself.
Mac Devices
- iMac Desktop in the office
- Double-click the network drive shortcut on your desktop
- Laptop in the office using a dock
- On the menu bar, click Go > Connect to Server
- Select a network drive path saved in Favorite Servers and click connect.
- Using your NetID for , enter @rad.rutgers.edu and password
- RAD-joined laptop connected to RUWireless Secure ON campus: At this time, only the Home (H: drive) is
accessible from RUWireless Secure. Connect to the VPN to access additional network drives.- On the menu bar, click Go > Connect to Server
- Select a network drive path saved in Favorite Servers and click connect.
- Using your NetID, enter @rad.rutgers.edu and password
