How to Activate Your Rutgers Zoom Service
All Rutgers affiliates have access to Zoom service through their NetID, but it must be personally activated through the process described below.
The SSW Zoom accounts are still operational, but no new account will be activated, and the existing ones will be merged as soon as central IT availability allows.
Activating your Rutgers Zoom service
- Go to https://netid.rutgers.edu
- Click on “Service Activation,” the second menu item top left
- Log in with your NetID/password
- Click on the checkbox next to “Rutgers Zoom Zoom Meetings (NOT for RESTRICTED data controlled by HIPAA or other regulation)"
- Click on the dark gray button labeled “Activate Service” – and you are done
Logging into your Rutgers Zoom service
- Go to https://rutgers.zoom.us
- Click on the red “Host” button to start a meeting, or on the red “Sign In” button to configure your account and/or schedule a meeting
- Log in with your NetID/password
